The Public Defender of Rights can help you in cases and situations that are defined by the provisions of the Constitution of the Slovak Republic and the Act on the Public Defender of Rights.

For example, the Public Defender of Rights may intervene in the event of inaction by public administration bodies – the so-called unnecessary delays in the proceedings, but it cannot help you in case of problems with neighborly disputes, contractual relations, inheritance proceedings or loans.
